Privacy Policy

GymTemper is a 100% offline workout tracker. This Privacy Policy explains what information the app collects, how it is used, and your rights as a user. The short version: we collect almost nothing, and what little we do collect stays on your device.
1. Information We Do Not Collect
GymTemper does not collect or store any of the following:
- Your name, email address, or any personal identifiers
- An account or user profile of any kind
- Your workout data — it is stored locally on your device only
- Location, contacts, camera, microphone, or any device sensor data
- Usage analytics or behavioral tracking
- Advertising identifiers
2. Information We Do Collect
GymTemper uses Firebase Crashlytics (by Google) to receive anonymous crash reports when the app crashes unexpectedly. This helps us fix bugs.
A crash report may include:
- Device model and Android version
- App version
- A stack trace of the crash (technical error details, no personal data)
- A randomly generated, anonymous installation identifier
This data is not linked to you personally and cannot identify you.
3. How to Opt Out of Crash Reporting
You can disable crash reporting at any time via your Android device settings: Settings → Privacy → Usage & diagnostics (exact path may vary by device manufacturer). Disabling this will stop crash reports from being sent. The app will continue to work normally.
4. Data Storage
All workout data (exercises, sets, history, routines) is stored exclusively on your device using a local database. It is never transmitted to any server, and it is not backed up to the cloud by GymTemper. If you uninstall the app, all local data will be deleted.
5. Third-Party Services
GymTemper uses the following third-party service:
- Firebase Crashlytics (Google LLC) — for anonymous crash reporting only. See Firebase Privacy Policy.
No advertising networks, analytics SDKs, or social media SDKs are included.
6. Children's Privacy
GymTemper does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. Because we collect no personal data, the app is safe for all age groups.
7. Changes to This Policy
If we make material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will update the effective date above and note the changes in the app's release notes on Google Play.
